Editorial & verification policy
How listings are built
Every listing starts from the business's own website: services, service area, contact details, and any prices the business itself publishes. We write original, factual descriptions — we never copy another directory's descriptions, reviews, or photos, and we never invent credentials, insurance, reviews, service areas, prices, or availability. Each profile shows its sources and the date it was researched.
Statuses, kept separate
- Listed from public sources — compiled from the business's website; not yet claimed. This implies no partnership or endorsement.
- Owner-claimed — the business proved it represents the listing (business-domain email or manual review) and can correct it.
- Credential checked — a specific credential was checked against its issuing source; the profile says which one.
- Sponsored — the business pays for placement. Payment never buys any other status.
Corrections & removal
Any business can claim, correct, or remove its listing at any time — free, and without buying anything. Contact us and we act promptly.
Reviews
We do not display star ratings or review counts we cannot verify, and we never fabricate testimonials.
Medical content
We do not publish veterinary advice. Health-related guides are general information only, written to help owners ask better questions of their own veterinarian.
